Welcome to the Walpole Cross Keys Parish Council site. Cross Keys is a small community situated where Norfolk borders with both Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire.

Eva Kemp Memorial Garden Plant Scheme


Generally thought to be the place from which King John may have lost his jewels as he crossed the Wash.  It is a small agricultural community that was served for almost one hundred years by the M&GN (Midland and Great Northern or Muddle and Go Nowhere) Railway.

Cross Keys Parish Council intent on improving the look of the village and recently commissioned a Neighbourhood Plan (Blueprint for the Future). The Council is also proud of its part in sustaining three village gardens.

The Parish Council normally meets on the third Wednesday of every month (except December when it is the second Wednesday)
at 7.30pm in the School Hall. Please check latest calendar of meeting dates as sometimes this can vary.
